Also made from Iberian pigs, this ham is cured for at least 2 years before being eaten. These hams from Eíriz are made according to the tradition of the master chacineros of Jabugo.
The Iberian pig's pasture extends into the Andalusian Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park, located an hour and quarter to the northwest of Seville, in the province of Huelva.

What is "Cebo de Campo"?
"Cebo de Campo" refers to Iberian pigs raised outdoors and fed mainly with cereals and legumes, sometimes combined with natural resources like grass or pastureland. They may be raised in either intensive or extensive systems, with a regulated stocking density that must never exceed, in the case of fattening pigs between 50 and 150 kg, 17.14 pigs per hectare. Only products with a Protected Designation of Origin (D.O.) guarantee truly extensive farming.
