The weight of the products sold here

  1. Hams and paletas: the weight in kilos indicated on these products is the average weight of the whole piece. This weight can vary by 500g, higher or lower. We ask our producers to fulfill the requested weight, but it is not always easy to choose the exact weight before invoicing.
  2. The ham or paleta that is sold cut in thin slices matches the established weight. Cut and vacuum-packed products are weighed to the exact gram.
  3. The weight of other items (chorizos, loin, tenderloin, etc.) can vary by 100g, higher or lower.

Tapas-Shop.com reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. When ordering, the products will be invoiced based on the rates in force at the time of validation of that order.

For all invoiced products, the price will automatically be calculated with 10% VAT included. Professionals (non-Spanish) who have an intra-Community VAT number and would like to be exempt from VAT should contact Tapas-Shop.com by e-mail or by telephone before ordering. They will be assigned a professional account after checking the data. Orders that are directly made through the website, without previous contact will not be eligible for VAT exemption even if the customer has an intra-communitary VAT number. Delivery

Delivery to any destination address in Europe. Shipping costs vary depending on the weight and volume of the order. The cost includes the preparation and delivery of the products of the order to any destination address in the European Union. A name and a contact phone number are required at the time of ordering. We are currently working with the Spanish company MRW, UPS, and Correos (Spanish national postal service). The prices that appear below are the cheapest rate according to weight.

Order Confirmation

Once the orders are placed, and after verifying the data, the order will be valid or not. If it is not valid within 15 days, the order will be canceled and the amount paid will be refunded. This period can be extended if an exchange of documents is in process between the customer and Tapas-Shop.com.

The products are delivered to the address indicated at the time of payment.

The ordering process

Tapas-shop will take every measure to try to get the order to its destination as quickly as possible, bearing in mind that a period of between 24 and 72 hours is needed to prepare the order, before shipping.

The delivery times detailed here are valid under normal conditions of service and for shipments made by our usual delivery companies. Delivery times may be extended in case of Social disruption (strikes in postal services, road transport) or by weather-based incidents.

You will receive your package within 4 to 6 business days after the date of shipment for any order placed from Monday to Friday.
These deadlines correspond to deliveries in Europe, in working days, without problems with mail and according to the availability of the products.

If you are not home when the delivery is made, an advisory slip will be left in your letterbox. You can use this to collect your package from the indicated agency, along with a proof of identity.
If the addressee does not collect their package within 15 days, it will be returned to us and you will be informed by email.

No payment deadline is agreed upon and orders will not be sent as long as payment has not been received and cleared.

After-sales Service

Exchanges and returns

All of our products are shipped perfectly packaged and protected so it should arrive in optimal conditions.

Our company guarantees the perfect condition of all its products. However, it may be that a piece does not arrive in such good condition (curing problem, degradation during transport, etc.).
When the customer receives the order, there are legal procedures that allow return of the product if the customer is not satisfied. You must inform us in advance of such return by email or telephone and return the product in perfect condition, along with the original invoice.
Tapas-Shop will refund the customer the amount of the order within 15 days after the return of the merchandise.

No return or exchange of the product will be accepted outside the deadlines indicated above. These are edible products, so we are not responsible for how the products store once the products are delivered.
In case of change or return, a product must be in the same condition as it was sent. The customer must return the products in perfect condition, properly protected and in their original packaging. Before returning a product, the customer must ensure that it is properly protected and sealed so that it does not suffer damage during transport.
The customer shall bear the shipping and return costs.

Packages delivered outside of the given period

In case of non-compliance with the delivery deadlines, Tapas-Shop.com is committed to answering any questions necessary and to reimbursing the postage costs. Apart from this reimbursement, late deliveries do not have to cause damage or create interest, nor any cancellation of orders in progress. Tapas-Shop.com will inform the customer as early as possible of any delays.

Lost or missing packages

In case of loss of a package (if Correos or the carrier misplaced the package during the shipment and it is not delivered to the customer), Tapas-Shop.com undertakes to send a second package at no cost to the customer.
Tapas-Shop.com will ask the recipient to provide a certificate of what happened indicating the non-receipt of the package, committing to return the first shipment if it ends up arriving correctly. This certificate will serve to file a complaint with the carrier and possibly with the police.

Acceptance of Conditions

The customer acknowledges having been informed, at the time of ordering, of the particular conditions of sale described and announced on the website (prices, weight, quantities, eventualities, cost of transportation) and expressly declares that they accept them without reservation. The order and its confirmation by the customer when making the payment supposes the total acceptance of the particular conditions applicable to the order. It is necessary that the client has, prior to this confirmation, a mechanism that allows him to correct or modify his choice. For traders, only proof of their professional activity (KBIS or RCS sent by e-mail together with the VAT number) will start the process of sending merchandise.
